We try to keep the math in the game fairly simple. Most of the time, you’re just adding up single-digit numbers. Sometimes you need to multiply single-digit numbers as well.

When you get into inflicting and marking off Damage, though, the addition and subtraction can get into double and triple digits, especially when you’re dealing with incredibly Powerful characters. When that happens, just take your time to make sure you’re doing it right.

If you ever feel like you’re struggling with the math at any point during the game, don’t panic. Feel free to use a calculator (or calculator app) to help if you like. With a little practice, you’re sure to get better at it, but there’s no shame in using whatever tools you have at hand to make the game easier and more fun.
